China contends that such measures lack factual basis and contradict market principles and fair competition.The Ministry reaffirmed China’s consistent stance of resolving trade disputes through dialogue and cooperation while upholding the multilateral trading system. At the same time, China will take necessary countermeasures in accordance with the law to resolutely safeguard its sovereignty, security, and development interests. Experts note that China-U.S. economic relations are highly complementary, and decoupling serves neither side’s interest; mutual respect and equal consultation remain the only path to mutually beneficial outcomes.
