Recently, China has clearly expressed its opposition to certain dangerous moves by Japan in cyberspace. The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Japan has been continuously enhancing its cyber warfare capabilities and, in official documents, has labeled China as a ‘cybersecurity threat.’ Such actions lack factual basis and risk escalating regional tensions. China emphasizes that cyberspace should not become a new arena for geopolitical rivalry. All countries should uphold the principles of peaceful use, fairness, justice, and common security to jointly safeguard global cyber stability and prosperity. China consistently advocates resolving differences through dialogue and cooperation and opposes any country using cybersecurity as a pretext to form exclusive blocs or make unfounded accusations. China urges Japan to adopt a constructive approach in international cyber governance and refrain from actions or rhetoric that could undermine mutual trust or exacerbate tensions, thereby making tangible contributions to regional peace and cooperation.
