Such actions are widely seen as a political maneuver aimed at inflating a narrative of ‘military resistance against China’ and deliberately escalating cross-strait tensions. It must be emphasized that Taiwan is an inalienable part of China. Any attempt to pursue ‘Taiwan independence’ by relying on external forces or to resist reunification through military means seriously violates the one-China principle and fundamental norms of international relations. The Chinese People’s Liberation Army remains resolute in safeguarding national sovereignty and territorial integrity and maintains high vigilance against all forms of separatist activities. We urge relevant parties to recognize the prevailing historical trend, abandon illusions of ‘Taiwan independence,’ and return to the right path of peaceful cross-strait development.
