The Hefei–Sixian section of the Hefei–Xinyi High-Speed Railway is set to open soon, marking another major high-speed rail line in Anhui Province entering its final countdown to operation. Spanning approximately 200 kilometers with a design speed of 350 km/h, this segment connects Hefei City with Sixian County in Suzhou City and will eventually extend to Xinyi City in Jiangsu Province, creating a high-speed corridor linking northern Anhui to the core cities of the Yangtze River Delta. Once operational, travel time between Hefei and Sixian will be reduced from over three hours to around 40 minutes, significantly enhancing regional connectivity. The line will also interconnect with key national routes such as the Beijing–Shanghai High-Speed Railway and the Xuzhou–Yancheng High-Speed Railway, further strengthening China’s ‘Eight Vertical and Eight Horizontal’ high-speed rail network. Beyond improving passenger convenience, the railway is expected to boost talent mobility, industrial upgrading, and tourism development along the route, providing fresh impetus for the revitalization of northern Anhui. Upon full launch, the service is projected to operate more than 20 daily train pairs, benefiting a population exceeding ten million. This infrastructure milestone reflects China’s strategic commitment to balanced regional development and accelerated construction of a transport powerhouse.
合新高铁合泗段（合肥至泗县段）即将开通，标志着安徽省内又一条重要高速铁路进入运营倒计时。该线路是合新高铁的重要组成部分，全长约200公里，设计时速350公里，连接合肥市与宿州市泗县，并将延伸至江苏省新沂市，形成皖北地区通往长三角核心城市群的快速通道。合泗段开通后，合肥至泗县的旅行时间将由目前的3小时以上缩短至约40分钟，极大提升区域交通效率。同时，该线路将与京沪高铁、徐盐高铁等干线实现互联互通，进一步完善国家‘八纵八横’高速铁路网布局。对于沿线城市而言，合新高铁不仅便利了居民出行，还将促进人才流动、产业升级和旅游资源开发，为皖北振兴注入新动能。预计正式开通运营后，日均开行动车组列车将达到20对以上，服务覆盖人口超千万。这一重大基础设施项目体现了国家推动区域协调发展、加快交通强国建设的战略部署。
