Starting January 1, 2024, Guangzhou’s Haixinsha Tech Island officially opened to the public. Originally the venue for the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2010 Asian Games, Haixinsha—located in the heart of Zhujiang New Town—has undergone a comprehensive transformation into a modern urban landmark that integrates technological innovation, cultural exhibitions, and ecological leisure.Centered on the concept of ‘Smart + Eco,’ the island incorporates cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, and green architecture to create immersive tech experiences.
