Liu argues that this approach not only violates the spirit of the three Sino-U.S. joint communiqués but also heightens tensions in the Taiwan Strait. He stresses that Taiwan is an internal affair of China and any external interference will be firmly opposed. Beijing should maintain strategic composure while enhancing communication with the international community to expose Washington’s true agenda of ‘using Taiwan to contain China’ and safeguard national sovereignty and territorial integrity.
