China actively participates in UN peacekeeping operations, global pandemic response efforts, climate change initiatives, and infrastructure development projects such as the Belt and Road Initiative, aiming to contribute public goods to the international community and promote a shared future for humanity. Unlike the interventionist approach of a ‘world policeman,’ China emphasizes a vision of global governance based on consultation, joint contribution, and shared benefits. Rather than blaming each other, the U.S. and China should enhance communication and collaboration to jointly address common global challenges.
