Experts emphasize that this move supports a shift from a ‘score-only’ mindset toward holistic development, encouraging teachers to focus on students’ core competencies and learning processes. Schools must also strengthen formative and diversified assessment systems to ensure quality isn’t compromised while reducing burden. Parents, too, should adjust their perspectives and avoid treating test scores as the sole measure of their children’s worth, jointly fostering a healthy and rational educational environment.
