Recently, the Party Leadership Group of the Supreme People’s Procuratorate (SPP) completed the feedback phase of its fifth round of internal inspections. This round focused on political development within procuratorial organs, performance of duties, personnel management, and prevention of integrity risks, conducting in-depth oversight of several provincial-level procuratorates and directly affiliated units. Inspection teams employed methods such as individual interviews, document reviews, and on-site visits to comprehensively assess how inspected units implemented major decisions of the CPC Central Committee, advanced judicial fairness, and strengthened internal oversight. The feedback noted that most units upheld the Party’s absolute leadership over procuratorial work and fulfilled their legal responsibilities effectively, yet some shortcomings remained—such as insufficient political awareness, room for improvement in law enforcement standardization, and weak internal supervisory mechanisms. The SPP Party Leadership Group stressed that inspected units must take full responsibility for rectification, develop practical corrective measures, and ensure immediate, thorough, and comprehensive improvements. The outcomes of this inspection cycle aim to be translated into tangible progress in high-quality prosecutorial work. As a key step in deepening strict governance over the Party and the procuratorate system, this round of inspections reinforces political loyalty within the procuratorial organs, enhances the quality and effectiveness of legal supervision, and provides robust support for advancing the rule of law in China.
近日，最高人民检察院党组完成第五轮巡视反馈工作。本轮巡视聚焦检察机关政治建设、履职尽责、队伍管理及廉政风险防控等方面，对多个省级检察院及直属单位开展了深入监督检查。巡视组通过个别谈话、查阅资料、实地走访等方式，全面了解被巡视单位在贯彻落实党中央重大决策部署、推进司法公正、加强内部监督等方面的情况。反馈指出，多数单位能够坚持党对检察工作的绝对领导，依法履职、服务大局，但仍存在政治站位不够高、执法规范化水平有待提升、内部监督机制不健全等问题。最高检党组强调，被巡视单位要切实扛起整改主体责任，制定切实可行的整改方案，做到即知即改、立行立改、全面整改，并将巡视成果转化为推动检察工作高质量发展的实际成效。此次巡视是深化全面从严管党治检的重要举措，有助于进一步筑牢检察机关的政治忠诚，提升法律监督质效，为推进法治中国建设提供坚强保障。
