献血“会上瘾能减重”系谣言

Recently, online rumors have claimed that ‘blood donation is addictive’ or ‘can help you lose weight,’ causing confusion among the public. Medical experts have clearly stated that these claims are completely unfounded.First, there is no scientific basis for the idea that blood donation is addictive. The human body has a strong capacity to regulate and regenerate blood. Donating a standard amount (typically 200–400 milliliters) does not harm health and certainly does not cause physical or psychological dependence. Any perceived ‘addiction’ usually stems from the emotional satisfaction of helping others—not from any physiological dependency akin to substance addiction.Second, the notion that blood donation aids weight loss is also a misconception. While donating blood temporarily reduces blood volume, the resulting weight change is negligible. The body quickly replenishes lost fluids through normal hydration and metabolism, restoring weight almost immediately. Blood donation is not a weight-loss strategy and cannot replace healthy diet and exercise.In fact, regular, voluntary blood donation is safe and may even support metabolic health and reduce risks associated with iron overload. According to China’s Blood Donation Law, healthy citizens aged 18 to 55 may voluntarily donate blood, with at least six months between donations.Therefore, the public should view blood donation rationally—neither fearing it due to myths nor expecting unrealistic benefits. Scientific, informed blood donation benefits both donors and recipients.

近期,网络上流传一种说法称‘献血会上瘾’或‘献血能减重’,引发部分公众误解。对此,权威医学专家明确指出:这些说法纯属谣言。首先,‘献血会上瘾’的说法毫无科学依据。人体血液具有强大的自我调节和再生能力,一次献血(通常为200-400毫升)不会对健康造成影响,更不会导致生理或心理上的依赖。所谓‘上瘾’,往往是个别人在献血后因助人行为获得心理满足感,误以为是身体成瘾,实则与药物或物质成瘾完全不同。其次,‘献血能减重’也是误解。虽然献血会短暂减少体内血容量,但体重变化微乎其微,且身体会迅速通过饮水和代谢补充丢失的液体,体重很快恢复。长期来看,献血并非减肥手段,也无法替代健康饮食与运动。事实上,适量献血不仅安全,还有助于促进新陈代谢,并可能降低铁过载相关疾病的风险。我国《献血法》规定,18至55周岁的健康公民可自愿献血,每次间隔不少于6个月。因此,公众应理性看待献血,既不必因谣言而恐惧,也不应抱有不切实际的期待。科学献血,利人利己。
