Meanwhile, the mainland will continue adhering to the fundamental policy of ‘peaceful reunification and one country, two systems,’ promoting the peaceful development of cross-strait relations, enhancing the well-being of people on both sides, and jointly realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.This response reaffirms China’s unwavering stance on the Taiwan issue and its resolute commitment to safeguarding national sovereignty and territorial integrity.
