Recently, the Sichuan Winter Tourism Season officially kicked off in Wenchuan County, Ngawa Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, under the theme “Warm Winter in Wenchuan: A Joyful Journey.” The event aims to fully leverage Wenchuan’s winter tourism resources, promote high-quality integration of culture and tourism, and attract more visitors to experience the region’s warmth during the cold season.Drawing on its unique natural landscapes and rich Qiang-Tibetan cultural heritage, Wenchuan has launched a series of winter-themed tourism offerings, including hot spring wellness retreats, snow and ice activities, ethnic festivals, and traditional New Year markets. Visitors can enjoy snowy scenery at the Sanjiang Ecotourism Zone, savor authentic Qiang cuisine along Xiqiang Cultural Street, or participate in intangible cultural heritage workshops at the Dayu Cultural Tourism Area. Additionally, the county has introduced supportive measures such as discounted tickets, convenient shuttle services, and enhanced visitor care to improve the overall winter travel experience.As a key ecological and cultural tourism destination in northwestern Sichuan, Wenchuan has continuously upgraded its tourism infrastructure to create a year-round travel environment.
