Claims of ‘decapitation operations’ are either misinterpretations or deliberate exaggerations. The PLA adheres to a defensive national defense policy and upholds the One-China Principle, firmly opposing any form of ‘Taiwan independence’ separatism and external interference. The core objective of these drills is to safeguard national sovereignty and territorial integrity and to maintain peace and stability across the Taiwan Strait. Any attempt to split the country or undermine social stability will inevitably fail in the face of China’s strong national defense.
