Key work included replacing roof tiles, reinforcing wooden frameworks, restoring historic polychrome decorations, and upgrading drainage systems—significantly enhancing both structural safety and visual harmony. Throughout the process, historical authenticity was carefully maintained, preserving traces of previous renovations dating back to the Qing Dynasty. With improved exhibition facilities and a more welcoming visitor environment, the restored Zhao Zilong Temple and Tomb will better serve tourists and researchers alike, further integrating cultural heritage with local tourism development and continuing the legacy of this legendary hero.
