This initiative represents a significant strategic move in China’s rare and critical metals sector, enhancing Huaxi Nonferrous’s technological capabilities and core competitiveness while aligning with national priorities to secure resource supply and boost domestic production of high-end materials. Going forward, the institute will serve as an integrated innovation platform that bridges industry, academia, and research, supporting high-quality development of China’s critical metals industry and contributing Chinese solutions to global supply chain stability.
