Located in Bao’an District, the base covers a total construction area of approximately 36,000 square meters and integrates R&D, manufacturing, and testing functions. It focuses on providing core components, ground equipment, and supply chain support for commercial rockets. The project will promote the localized production of high-end technologies such as rocket engines, navigation systems, and lightweight materials, contributing to the improvement and upgrading of the Greater Bay Area’s commercial aerospace industry chain. Leveraging its innovative environment, advanced manufacturing foundation, and advantages in capital and talent, Shenzhen is accelerating the development of an “aerospace+” industrial cluster. This base is expected to become a new regional economic growth driver and inject fresh momentum into China’s global competition in commercial aerospace.
