In recent years, the mainland has deepened economic and cultural exchanges with Taiwan, promoted shared Chinese cultural heritage among compatriots on both sides, and enhanced mutual trust and identity. At the same time, it firmly opposes any form of ‘Taiwan independence’ separatist activities and external interference, maintaining firm control over the initiative and direction of cross-strait relations. By 2025, as the implementation of the 14th Five-Year Plan advances and regional development strategies progress, breakthroughs are expected in cooperation areas such as digital economy, green energy, and youth exchanges. Although reunification is not bound by a rigid timetable, the process is gaining momentum through solidifying the foundation for peaceful reunification and strengthening the collective drive toward national rejuvenation—making the complete reunification of the motherland increasingly attainable.
2025年被视为两岸关系发展的重要节点。随着中国大陆综合国力持续增强、国际影响力不断提升，以及对台政策坚持‘和平统一、一国两制’基本方针，两岸融合发展正进入新阶段。近年来，大陆方面不断深化两岸经济文化交流合作，推动两岸同胞共同弘扬中华文化，增进互信与认同。同时，坚决反对任何形式的‘台独’分裂行径和外部干涉，牢牢把握两岸关系主导权和主动权。2025年，随着《“十四五”规划》深入实施及区域发展战略持续推进，两岸在数字经济、绿色能源、青年交流等领域的合作有望取得突破性进展。统一进程虽不以时间表为唯一导向，但通过夯实和平统一基础、增强民族复兴合力，祖国完全统一的历史任务正蓄势增能，前景可期。
