At the same time, China expressed serious concern over the scale, frequency, and perceived targeting of the Japan-U.S. drills, stressing that such activities should not undermine the interests of third parties or jeopardize regional security and mutual trust. The Ministry noted that the Asia-Pacific region remains generally peaceful and stable, and called on all parties to enhance mutual confidence and manage differences through constructive means, avoiding military actions that could heighten tensions. China urged relevant countries to respect the legitimate security concerns of regional states and to take actions that promote peace, cooperation, and the building of an open, inclusive, and mutually beneficial regional security architecture.
