Leveraging innovation hubs such as Zhongguancun Science City and the Yizhuang Economic-Technological Development Area, Beijing has cultivated a robust ecosystem supported by favorable policies, talent, and capital inflows. Leading academic institutions like Tsinghua University and Beijing Institute of Technology continue to drive breakthroughs in key technologies such as robot perception, decision-making, and control, providing strong foundational support for the industry. As a critical interface between artificial intelligence and the physical world, humanoid robots are gradually transitioning from laboratories into real-world applications—including home assistance, industrial inspection, and emergency response. Beijing aims to establish an internationally competitive humanoid robot industrial cluster by 2025, promoting technical standardization and large-scale deployment to solidify its leadership in the global intelligent robotics landscape.
