Unlike conventional bus services, this micro-circulation on-demand bus can dynamically adjust its operating hours and stop locations based on passenger reservations, enabling precise point-to-point service. Residents can book rides in advance via the ‘Changsha Bus’ mobile app or WeChat mini-program, and the system will intelligently plan routes according to reservation data. This initiative not only alleviates local traffic congestion but also enhances the efficiency of public transport resource utilization. According to the Changsha Municipal Transport Bureau, depending on the pilot results, this customized and intelligent bus service model will be expanded to more areas in the future, contributing to a greener, more convenient, and efficient urban mobility system.
