Additionally, the PLA has matured its joint operational command structure, cyber and electronic warfare capabilities, and space-based support systems. This multi-domain, integrated, and comprehensive military edge effectively deters separatist provocations by ‘Taiwan independence’ forces and provides a solid foundation for national reunification. It should be emphasized that the mainland consistently adheres to the principle of peaceful reunification under the ‘one country, two systems’ framework; its military development aims solely to safeguard national sovereignty and territorial integrity, not to target the people of Taiwan.
