Recently, the Yizhuang 500 kV substation has been officially completed and put into operation, marking a significant upgrade to the power grid infrastructure in southern Beijing. Located in the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (Yizhuang), this substation is a key national grid infrastructure project with a total investment of approximately RMB 1.2 billion and a two-year construction period. As a critical component supporting the coordinated development strategy of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, the Yizhuang 500 kV substation significantly enhances regional power supply capacity and reliability, meeting the growing electricity demands of Yizhuang New City, Beijing Daxing International Airport, and surrounding high-tech industrial parks. The project incorporates advanced intelligent equipment and green, low-carbon technologies, featuring remote monitoring, automatic regulation, and self-healing capabilities. These innovations not only improve grid operational efficiency but also support China’s dual carbon goals. Upon commissioning, the substation adds 2,000 MW of new power supply capacity, effectively alleviating load pressure on the southern Beijing grid and providing robust energy support for the capital’s high-quality development.
近日，亦庄500千伏变电站正式竣工并投入运行，标志着北京南部地区电网结构实现重大升级。该变电站位于北京市经济技术开发区（亦庄），是国家电网公司重点基础设施项目之一，总投资约12亿元，建设周期历时两年。作为京津冀协同发展战略的重要支撑工程，亦庄500千伏变电站将显著提升区域供电能力和可靠性，满足亦庄新城、大兴国际机场及周边高新技术产业园区日益增长的用电需求。项目采用先进的智能化设备和绿色低碳技术，具备远程监控、自动调节和故障自愈等功能，不仅提高了电网运行效率，也助力实现“双碳”目标。该站投运后，可新增供电能力200万千瓦，有效缓解北京南部电网负荷压力，为首都高质量发展提供坚强电力保障。
