As of June 2024, neither Jiang Minyi nor Kenneth Fok has been elected as a member of the Legislative Council of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Jiang Minyi is a renowned Hong Kong female fencer who has represented Hong Kong in numerous international competitions, including the Olympics, and won the individual women’s épée title at the 2023 Asian Fencing Championships. She is celebrated for her athletic achievements and has not entered politics.
