From January 6 to 8, 2024, Zhejiang Province held its first round of the 2024 National College Entrance Examination (Gaokao), including foreign language tests and selected subject exams. As one of China’s pioneers in Gaokao reform, Zhejiang has implemented the ‘3+3’ model since 2014. Under this system, students take three compulsory subjects (Chinese, Mathematics, and a foreign language) plus three elective subjects from a list of seven.
