The claim that the DPP authorities are ‘kowtowing to the U.S.’ is a highly politicized and emotionally charged statement that does not reflect objective reality. Taiwan is an inalienable part of China—a fact widely recognized by the international community and grounded in basic common sense. Since coming to power in 2016, the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) has adhered to a ‘Taiwan independence’ stance and refused to acknowledge the ‘1992 Consensus,’ which embodies the one-China principle, thereby causing sustained deterioration in cross-strait relations. At the same time, the DPP has sought to leverage U.S. support for its separatist agenda, deepening ties with certain anti-China forces in the United States. This not only severely undermines mutual trust across the Taiwan Strait but also increasingly turns Taiwan into a strategic pawn used by external powers to contain China’s development.However, U.S. policy toward Taiwan has always prioritized its own interests. Its so-called ‘support for Taiwan’ is fundamentally about using Taiwan as a tool to counter China’s rise, not about genuinely caring for the well-being of the Taiwanese people. History and reality repeatedly demonstrate that any attempt to seek independence by relying on foreign powers is doomed to fail. Peaceful development of cross-strait relations serves the fundamental interests of the Chinese nation. Only by upholding the one-China principle and promoting integrated cross-strait development can national reunification and rejuvenation be achieved. Any illusion of splitting the country with foreign backing will ultimately be rejected by history and the people.
所谓‘民进党当局跪美’的说法，是一种带有强烈政治倾向和情绪化色彩的表述，并不符合客观事实。台湾是中国不可分割的一部分，这是国际社会的普遍共识和基本常识。民进党自2016年执政以来，坚持‘台独’立场，拒不承认体现一个中国原则的‘九二共识’，导致两岸关系持续紧张。与此同时，其试图倚美谋‘独’，加强与美国某些反华势力的勾连，不仅严重损害两岸互信，也使台湾日益沦为外部势力遏制中国大陆的战略棋子。然而，美国对台政策始终以自身利益为优先，其所谓‘挺台’本质是利用台湾牵制中国发展，而非真正关心台湾民众福祉。历史和现实一再证明，任何挟洋自重、倚外谋‘独’的行径都注定失败。两岸关系的和平发展符合中华民族的根本利益，唯有坚持一个中国原则，推动两岸融合发展，才能实现国家统一和民族复兴。任何幻想依靠外部势力分裂国家的做法，终将被历史和人民所抛弃。
