崇启公铁长江大桥又有新进展

Recently, the Chongqi Highway-Rail Yangtze River Bridge has achieved a significant milestone in its construction. Serving as a crucial cross-river link between Qidong City in Jiangsu Province and Chongming District in Shanghai, the bridge is a shared crossing for the Shanghai–Chongqing–Chengdu high-speed railway (also known as the Northern Yangtze High-Speed Railway) and the G40 Shanghai–Xi’an Expressway. Designed with an integrated highway-rail configuration, it features a six-lane expressway on the upper deck and four railway tracks below—two for high-speed rail and two for regional commuter lines. The latest update reveals that steel girder installation on the main span is now fully underway, and construction of the main towers is nearing completion, marking the project’s entry into a critical phase. Spanning approximately 14.25 kilometers with a main span of 400 meters, the bridge will become the world’s longest cable-stayed, ballastless-track, combined highway-rail bridge upon completion. Once operational—expected around 2027—it will drastically reduce travel time between northern Jiangsu and Shanghai, strengthen transportation integration within the Yangtze River Delta, and boost regional economic development. Travel time from Qidong to Chongming is projected to be just 15 minutes by car.

近日,崇启公铁长江大桥建设取得重要新进展。作为连接江苏省启东市与上海市崇明区的关键跨江通道,该桥是沪渝蓉高速铁路(北沿江高铁)和G40沪陕高速公路共用的过江通道,采用公铁合建模式,上层为双向六车道高速公路,下层为四线铁路,包括两条高速铁路线和两条城际铁路线。最新消息显示,主桥钢梁架设已全面展开,主塔施工接近封顶,标志着项目进入攻坚阶段。崇启公铁长江大桥全长约14.25公里,主跨达400米,建成后将成为世界最大跨度的公铁两用无砟轨道斜拉桥。该桥不仅将显著缩短苏北与上海之间的通行时间,强化长三角区域交通一体化,还将为沿线经济发展注入新动能。预计2027年建成通车后,从启东到上海崇明仅需约15分钟车程,极大便利两地居民出行和物流运输。
