In recent years, South-Central Minzu University has actively embraced the wave of digitalization and intelligent transformation, exploring new pathways for high-quality development through ‘digital-intelligent empowerment.’ The university has taken smart campus construction as a key initiative to comprehensively upgrade teaching, research, administration, and student services. On the other hand, it has deepened educational reforms by integrating intelligent teaching tools and virtual simulation experiments to foster students’ digital literacy and innovation capabilities. Notably, the university applies digital and intelligent technologies to research on ethnic minority regions, supporting rural revitalization and cultural heritage preservation. For instance, it uses digital methods to collect, model, and disseminate minority languages and intangible cultural heritage, revitalizing these cultural assets. Furthermore, South-Central Minzu University strengthens collaboration with enterprises and research institutes to co-build industry-academia-research innovation platforms and accelerate technology transfer. Through systematic planning and practical exploration, the university is gradually establishing a distinctive digital-intelligent ecosystem tailored to ethnically-focused higher education, offering a new paradigm for high-quality development in the new era.
