航拍西延高铁全线最大跨度桥梁

Recently, the Luhe Grand Bridge—the largest-span bridge along the entire Xi’an–Yan’an High-Speed Railway—successfully achieved closure, marking a critical milestone in the project’s construction. Spanning approximately 2.3 kilometers with a main span of 360 meters, it is currently the longest-span concrete continuous rigid-frame bridge for ballastless-track high-speed rail in China. Advanced cantilever casting techniques using hanging baskets were employed to overcome challenges posed by complex terrain and ecological conservation requirements. Aerial footage vividly captures the bridge’s majestic presence as it stretches across the Luhe River gorge, resembling a steel dragon winding through lush mountains and clear waters. The Xi’an–Yan’an High-Speed Railway, about 300 kilometers long with a design speed of 350 km/h, will significantly reduce travel time between northern Shaanxi and the Guanzhong region upon completion, boosting regional economic development and red tourism. As a controlling engineering segment of the line, the successful closure of the Luhe Grand Bridge lays a solid foundation for the railway’s full operation scheduled for 2025.
